2013 Tournament Troop

Apply to be a Tournament Troop Banner Carrier in 2013 Tournament of Roses Parade! Tournament Troop is made up of GSGLA Senior and Ambassador Gold Award Girl Scouts (and area Eagle Scouts) assembled to march in the Tournament of Roses Parade and welcome the world to Pasadena on January 1, 2013.

For the Tournament Troop:
To be eligible, girls must have earned the Gold Award (girls grade 10-12) or are a 12th grade Girl Scout in the process of completing her Gold Award (proposal must have already been submitted). Gold Award Recipients that are also high school graduates/ college freshman within the same year are also eligible to apply.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2013 Tournament of Roses Parade. Application Deadline is Aug. 31, 2012. Interviews will be held on September 15, 2012. Participants will be selected and notified by mail by September 30, 2012. The Tournament Troop begins training for their 5.5 mile walk down Colorado Boulevard in early December.
