Current Girl Scout members must renew their membership for the 2012-13 year through eBiz by September 30, 2012. You must be registered for the 2012-13 Girl Scout year to register for any programs taking place after September 30.
| Please note: Girl Scout memberships not renewed by September 30, 2012 will expire and will automatically drop off their troop roster. Those members will then need to renew individually, and cannot be renewed by their troop leader. |

Who is able to renew online?
Currently registered girls and adults who have a valid email address in the council's database are eligible to renew online. The new membership year begins October 1.
What payment methods are accepted to renew an individual's membership online?
Credit and debit cards are accepted. Check, cash, individual girl cookie credit and financial aid require use of paper registration forms. Click here for the Offline Membership Renewal Checklist.
What are the benefits of online membership renewal for parents?
It's green. It's fast, easy and convenient. It provides accurate spelling and contact information.
What are the benefits of online membership renewal for troop leaders?
Online registration saves troop leaders valuable time: No collecting forms. No multiple trips to the bank to deposit money. No more worries about lost paperwork. No completing Membership Registration Summaries (Ladybugs). No waiting to know who’s registered.
- Troop leaders can pay membership renewals with troop debit cards or the 2012 eBiz card.
- Troop leaders will have an up to date troop roster at their fingertips.
- Troop leaders are able to easily email troop families from the troop management hub.
- Troop leaders are able to print membership ID cards.
How do parents/guardians and adults renew memberships?
To make sure all girls and adults continuing in troops appear on the troop roster, troop leaders should enter members’ missing email addresses in the Troop Management Hub and email parents/adult members to remind them to renew by 9/30 at 8:59PM (PST).

I am a graduating senior this year. How do I register for the discounted Lifetime Membership?
Graduating seniors may purchase Lifetime Membership at the discounted rate of $156 (regular $300) if they register by August 15. In order to receive this discounted rate, they must MAIL or deliver their membership registration form and payment by AUGUST 15, 2012 to: GSGLA, ATTN: LIFETIME REGISTRATION, 9525 Monte Vista Ave, Montclair, CA 91763. DO NOT submit by Fax or email to GSGLA. DO NOT submit to your local service center, your troop leader or Service Unit Registrar. Click here for an Adult Membership Registration Form.
What if I don't see "Renew" button when I access my eBiz account?
If your membership for the current year has not been entered into eBiz yet, you may not see the "Renew" button. Instead, use the "Join" button to Early Bird register for next year.

Is a separate logon required for each person?
Yes. Each individual must have a unique user name and password to access her/his account, renew a membership, and make a donation. The logon is linked to an individual's customer account. Only troop leaders with a 01 position code can see multiple members -- troop members -- through online troop management. Therefore, a parent of two Girl Scouts needs to have two separate logons to renew each daughter's membership and make a donation.
What features are available to me on my eBiz account?
- Update demographic and contact information as needed.
- Make a contribution to GSGLA.
- Renew membership.
- Print a membership card.
Is a parent/guardian signature required for online membership renewal?
No. The parent/guardian's online purchase of a Girl Scout membership replaces the need for a signature.
What happens if a girl wants to renew her membership but is transferring to another troop?
Transferring to another troop is a two-step process:
- A girl's parent/guardian renews girl's membership online with the existing troop.
- The current or new troop leader initiates a troop transfer using the Troop Change Form. Transfers are made by council staff.
Is online membership registration available in Spanish?
Not at this time. Paper forms must be used to register in Spanish:
