2013 GSGLA Earth Hour
March 23, 2013 • 8:30 - 9:30 p.m.
What Will You Do When the Lights Go Out?
Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles is participating in Earth Hour! On Saturday, March 23, 2013 Girl Scouts and friends will turn off all non-essential electronic devices for Earth Hour (8:30-9:30pm). Will you join in?
No lights! No television! No computer! all to help conserve energy and help our planet!
Have a picnic or a cookout, sing songs around a campfire, or just take a good, long look at the stars. Then on March 30th, attend the POWER IT UP event at the Montrose Program Center from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Learn how to conserve and use energy wisely by playing fun games, making water filters, and ultimately learn how to make a positive impact on the Earth. Lunch and a patch will be provided!
