Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles (GSGLA) serves more than 350 communities throughout Los Angeles County and parts of Kern, San Bernardino and Ventura counties (See GSGLA Council Map).
GSGLA operates seven service centers that serve the communities within the area. Volunteers, girls and parents can contact or visit their local service center to get in touch with staff, obtain resources and purchase Girl Scout merchandise at the Council Shop.
At the local level, GSGLA is broken down into smaller organizing bodies called service units (in some areas formerly known as neighborhoods). Service units are comprised of one or multiple communities. Each service unit has a personal contact at the council office as well as a volunteer team who, together, promote, manage and oversee Girl Scouting activities in their local area.
