  • One of the first steps to becoming a Girl Scout volunteer is to take the Online Volunteer Orientation. The Online Volunteer Orientation (both English- and Spanish-language versions) is the first close-up view of the Girl Scout organization for all new volunteers.

The training is designed to introduce new volunteers to Girl Scouting and the many rewarding opportunities that Girl Scouting offers girls and adults. The training requires a password to access it. Contact your local Membership Specialist to obtain a password.

  • Resource Web site for Volunteers: This Web site was created as part of a Gold Award Project. It includes videos of simple projects as well as listings of volunteer opportunities in the County of Los Angeles, divided into Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley.
